The **Intex 26002 1.25 Inch x 9.8 Foot Replacement PVC Pool Pump Hose** is a reliable and affordable option for those needing a replacement hose for their above-ground pool setup. At 9.8 feet long, it offers ample length to connect most pool pumps, filter pumps, or other pool equipment, making it versatile for various setups.Constructed from durable PVC material, the hose is built to withstand regular use and the rigors of pool maintenance, ensuring it is sturdy and leak-resistant. Its 1.25-inch diameter provides a good balance between flow rate and compatibility with standard pool equipment. The hose is easy to install, with secure fittings that attach well to the pump and filter. One of its standout features is its flexibility—it's easy to maneuver around pool areas without feeling too stiff or cumbersome. This hose is also designed to be UV-resistant, ensuring it won't degrade or crack under the sun’s exposure over time. However, some users have mentioned that the hose can be a bit on the thicker side, which may make it slightly more challenging to coil for storage, but this minor drawback is a tradeoff for its durability and robust performance.Overall, the **Intex 26002** is a solid replacement hose that delivers reliable performance at an affordable price. It’s ideal for anyone looking to replace a worn-out hose or for those who want to ensure their pool system operates smoothly.

I bought this to jury rig a vacuum to pull fine debris off the floor into the filter. I was able force it into the blue adaptor which is used to connect the skimmer. (The skimmer's hose goes around the adaptor.). I was also able to use some some bungee cords to secure it to a vacuum head designed for use with a garden hose.Worked well, although I had to stop periodically to clean out larger debris that clogged the inlet. I just wish the hose were two or three feet longer, so I could reach everywhere.
