Très satisfaite du produit.Le plateau est épais et de qualité. Les pions en bois sont légers mais en bois également et les finitions sont nickel.J'adore la boîte en métal pour tout ranger même si elle est très grande (le jeu prend de la place).Je pense que je le garderai longtemps.

Très bien pour les 6-7€ déboursé.Pièces trop légères, elles tombent facilement... Je pense qu'il vaut mieux privilégier des pièces magnétique pour plus de confort dans ces bas prix.

We sent for this Chess Set for our Grandson's birthday since he has joined a chess club and seems to have the right mind set to play well. When it arrived the board had a split across the middle where the stips of wood had been assembled. We sent it back and a new one was received. The new one had the same fault - this time the split was down the side edge. We did not retirn this one we disposed of it since my husband said that since we received £5.05 less than the return postage cost us the first time we returned the set, we might just as well cut our losses and purchase one locally. This we have done. A similar product, wooden board, wooden chess pieces plus draughts counters for £6 less than the one reviewed - the only difference is that there was no storage tin in which to keep it. I think there is a quality control problem at source with this product.

I got this for 11.75 and for this price it was great value for money. I wanted it for my 5-year-old to start learning. Excellent for that job, as the pieces are quite bulky, making them perfect for little fingers and also less easy to get lost (not impossible, but less easy). I also like their weight - they don't feel fake. This set will help your child take the game more seriously, without you worrying about lost or damaged pieces. Might grow out of it once becoming a more advanced player, though. Still, perfect for a young beginner. Would buy again and give as a gift.

Been using this chess board for many years now and it still looks like new. The pieces are good quality, as is the chess board itself. The metal case keeps all the pieces together and will provide many more years of family fun.

very disappointed in this as bought it for my husband but its much more suited for a child to use

It was completely broken in 2! What a let down for a christmas present. Thank god for superglue!! Wouldn't bother again!!
