I was putting in door knobs, and needed to move the strike plate place that's in the door jam. My chiseling was not working. I needed an oscillating saw anyway and so I bought this one. Oh my, yes. I was looking for a reason to use it. It cuts so well. It has an adjustable speed control to give more control in cutting. I used it to round out holes for the door knobs. I literally was using it and making the hole bigger as well as keeping it round so I could put in new door knobs. It charged up very fast and stayed charge the hole time i was using it. To put in the blade I had to pop the lever all the way up, that took me about 15 seconds to recognize, after that it was fun. That thing cut through an old door that was made to last. Whether it's cutting fast or slow, it's cutting.

This tool is great for my little diy projects. I like to diy onto furniture pieces from time to time. This tool is practical and light. I like how I can sand with it, as well as cut and scrape. I like how light it is and it maneuvers well. Comes with many different attachments and a carrying case. So far no issues with it being stuck or not enough power. I like the handle on the side also, to keep everything more balanced.

I've had a couple different oscillating tools over the last few years. I paint houses for a living and use them often. Mostly to cut holes in drywall for outlets or switches but many other things too. What first drew me to this was the fact that it's cordless. Running an extension cord and dragging ti up a ladder for one cut is a real pain. I wasn't sure how much power this would have but I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't notice any difference in how long it took to cut compared to a corded model. What I didn't even realize when ordering is how much I would love the quick blade change feature. It's so awesome that I don't have to use or search for a missing an allen wrench to change the blade. It's so much easier and faster. I also love how close I can get to something without a large allen screw head sticking out.I recently wanted to install a recessed AC outlet/usb power strip into an over the toilet cabinet in my bathroom. I thought I would have to remove the top have to be able to cut the hole I needed where I wanted to install it. I would have with my corded oscillating tool. But I was able to accomplish this without all that extra work and without damaging the back of the cabinet as shown in the pictures. It cut through the melamine very well.
