I used this to lay 900mm long porcaline tiles, works great. i didn't bother using the lazer as you need to aline the laser by tightening the screws on either side untill its straight but i didn't see the point if youv already measured and marked the tile you dont need the lazer.i tested this cutter on some old thick porcaline tiles and it worked fine.the newer tiles wernt as think so cut and snap even easier.for the money this is a great tool!

Use to the wet tile cutter, this is being a huge change for me and my work, on time and on quality, very precise cuts, the laser is really helpful and very accurate, forget bad reviews.. is the first time I'm using a manual cutter but is actually very easy to use and quiet, no more getting wet or disturbed by the noise. Ive tried cutting tiles with different thicknesses, porcelain, red clay white clai, etc and is always a clean cut. Bravo to the manufacturer

I needed a cutter for Meter square porcelain tiles, 10mm thick. I ignored my usual advice to buy good quality and went for this.Good points:It was cheap.Bad points:The laser is pointless, totally useless, you do however get a pair of AAA batteries to use in something else.The bar flexes as you score.The bed of the cutter flexes as you score.The head of the cutter is about 10mm out of square out of the box.The swing down snapping bar will swing down exactly when you don’t want it to. It will get stuck when you try and use it. A magnet in the head would preclude this.The adjustable square fence is possibly made from cheese and again is useless.After scoring, a short, sharp bang on the lever will sometimes cut the tile, sometimes it’ll cut half the tile.Save a bit more money and buy a Rubi.

Great tile cutter let down by a not very good wheel thats my take on it. Get a high quality wheel and you should be good to go. All of this is subjective and I am not a professional tiler. If you get a new wheel the centre hole is 6 mm you have to get a wheel with a 6mm hole.
