This is a basic first aid backpack. It has one main compartment with 3 external pockets. Inside the main compartment is an open pocket that can hold a clipboard or notebook as well as a zippered mesh pocket. The notebook pocket might also hold a tablet or smaller laptop, but it is not padded and will offer little protection. The straps of the backpack have minimal padding and are not meant for long term wear, but just as a quick and easy way to carry it short distances. The materials and construction are quite basic. The 3 outside pockets are actually rather thin and don’t hold a lot. I was hoping that I could organize supplies better with this bag but while the pockets are a good size otherwise, they are only 1.25” thick so you can’t put anything with any bulk in them. They also do not stretch at all.

Yep, it's a backpack.We needed a camp first aid kit. Everything we were using wasn't cleared for use because it was not red nor did it say first aid or have a big white cross on it - even though all of us within the camp knew what it was.So I bought this.It's a backpack. There are two zippered pockets on the side and one in the front, as well as, a net pocket inside. It's plenty big enough for what we need.

First off the bat, this is not a "Field Pack" for outdoor use. It has some waterproofing, but the zips aren't waterproof and it doesn't open fully to make it easy to find items packed loosely.I think that this may actually be a repurposed green schoolbag with vinyl printing to say "First Aid" and the big white cross. The straps are very small, so an adult wouldn't find it comfortable to wear it for any length of time. It also doesn't unzip allowing you to open the main pouch to a full 180 degrees to expose the contents to facilitate quick and easy access to the contents. Maybe it's because I'm used to more expensive field packs from my time as a first aider at sea.It is however perfect for a small office environment where it can be hung on the back of a first aider's chair. There is a reasonable sized central section that unzips about half way either side, that's fine for storing a small to medium prepacked first aid kit. Inside that section there is a non woven pocket just about big enough for an iPad or your accident book and a couple of loose elastic straps that I have no idea of their purpose (other than to slip the prepacked first aid kit through to stop it shaking about inside maybe). There is a good sized rear pocket, which is ideal for plasters or other items you might want to grab quickly. There are also two small side pockets (just about the right size for an eyewash kit) or other items you might want to grab quickly. Anything else should really be inside your main (boxed) first aid kit inside the main compartment.We will be using this as a visually aided storage for our HSE First Aid kit in our Massage Therapy Rooms were it will be located on the back of the staff room door and easily seen regularly by all members of staff, so it's easy to see, easy to find, easy to access and move with. As opposed to having our HSE boxed kit in the back of a cupboard or bottom of a desk drawer somewhere.As a carrier of a full boxed first aid kit that's visually obvious, it's perfect, but I wouldn't recommend it for outdoor events.If you are looking for a "Field Pack" for outdoor events, then there is one available from the same brand, but this is however not 'marked' with the words "First Aid" and doesn't have the cross, but it is waterproof and the main body compartment does open fully for easy access without needing you to dig through and put loose items on the ground. The description of that item is sole as "Jipemtra 25L Tactical First Aid Bag MOLLE EMT IFAK Backpack Military Emergency". It is not available in "First Aid Green" though.

Good quality bag that allows us for lots of storage.
