We recently completed a production of "Forencia" at The University of Houston. The title role was sung by the exquisite up-and-comer Desiree Alehandro, who sung it with a commitment and a passion thatwas not the at the premiere years ago at HGO.. the score is extremely well done, but you need to hear the recording to properly recreate the orchestra at the piano. Buy this score. It's a great value.

In my mind, probably on of the best opera scores of the 20th century. Clearly printed and with spiral page binders, it is easy to follow the music as it is being played.
