Had these shoes for over a year now and they are still in great shape. Happy bought these. I used to skate everyday to work and bike. They lasted great and am still wearing them. Great buy!

This shoe may have made me a DVS lifer.Pros:The features - I think the most I have ever received with a pair of shoes was extra shoe laces and a stupid sticker. I'll let you be surprised by what you get.Tongue thickness - Most other skate shoes come with a massive padded tongue that takes squishes the top of your foot making them uncomfortable until the padding wears out. These DVS have just the right amount. A little more than a regular shoe, but a lot less than a typical skater shoe.Removable tongue - I know, I also thought it was silly, but now I wish all shoes had this feature. 1. If you don't like the thickness you can add more, replace the padding with a different thickness, or remove it all together. That's awesome. Also after a trip through a river I removed the tongue padding, pulled back the tongue, and set the shoes around the campfire and they dried out in at most half the time of my friends shoes. They were impressed.Style - These are good looking shoes. They instantly became my work shoes. Dressy enough for the office. You can't say that about 99% of the skate shoes out there.Cons:Quality - The heel of one shoe came loose within a couple weeks. Definitely a design flaw. They wanted to show off the air cushion, so they glued the tread of the heel onto the air cushion and it came loose right away. Not a big deal though, you only notice the problem when you put your feet on a coffee table or something.Design flaw - There is a bump right over your outer toe where several pieces of material come together and are stitched together. If you buy too small a shoe, this is PAINFUL. I got around this by changing socks and stretching out the shoes (see below)Size - DVS just runs small anyway and with the bump problem mentioned above these can be a very painful shoe. I got around that and now these are my favorite shoes. I ended up buying "Lotus Wood Shoe Tree Stretcher Shaper" here on Amazon. I got the outside of the shoe a little wet, put these stretchers in, and then ran them under the sink till they were wet. I re-wet them twice a day for a about a week and they fit quite well after that. Hint, you can also use a rubbing alcohol and water mixture which is supposed to work much better, don't bother buying the stretching liquid off the web, this trick will do the same thing. These shoes were too small even though I bought .5 size larger. When I re-order I think I'll buy another full size larger (1.5). I'd do this just to avoid the shoe stretchers and the bump issue.Summary, I love these shoes, but the size is their big problem. I will be buying again.
