My son-in-law is trying to get an old Clio van back up and running-but he can’t afford to pay the silly money certain manufacturers are asking for compatible wiper motors, let alone OEM. One well known manufacturer is asking £195.00 for the same part.The one that has come off the van might be OEM, but we can’t tell. All I can say is it looks the same as the one that’s come off. The plastic parts are the same, as are all the metal ones, as are the electrical connections.The main thing is it’s easy to fit without modifications and works as well as the one we took out.As there’s such a vast difference between the price of this Dixhills wiper motor and the £195.00 one, there must be something that warrants such a price tag. All I know is that for the price of the £195.00 version you could buy 7 of these Dixhills’ ones. They can’t possibly be 7 times better; so I know which one I’d buy!
