I almost didn't buy this because it was a lot more expensive than a normal swimming costume, but I'm so glad I did: my little one gets quite cold in the pool and this really does the trick. The fact that the arms are of a thinner material than the rest means it doesn't restrict her movement, but it still keeps her warm and the long zip makes it easy to get on and off. She's been wearing it once or twice a week for 9 months now, we always machine wash it (but not tumble dry) and it shows no signs of wear at all. She's just growing out of it and so I've purchased the next size up.One thing I would say is that the sizes come up very small. My daughter is just growing out of the size 1 and she's just about to turn 1 year old (she is a 98th centile baby, but even so!) so I don't believe the 2-3 years size guide.

This is getting the job done for us. My 2.5 year old is petite so the S fits with some room to grow - doesn’t hug around the legs or torso. The arms are a different fabric as others have mentioned - I Ike this because it allows her to still move her arms and is not restricting at all. She used to freeze at her indoor swim lessons - all over shivering, teeth chattering, etc. and definitely reduced with this suit. She’s still a tad cold but able to get thru the entire class without turning blue and screaming.

My daughter used to last ten minutes in the pool before her lips would turn blue and she’d be over it. Now she makes it through the whole 30 minute lesson and she still feels nice and warm.I got the pink one based on other reviews which said the pink was thicker. I would have gotten blue otherwise, and I honestly don’t know if the pink is thicker because I’ve only seen the pink.But she loves it and it’s easy so I’m really glad we got it and when she grows out of it we will buy the next size up.
