I bought two of these sliding shorts for my son. The pants appear well made, and have so far held up during practices and several games. The padded sides offer some protection for the skin when sliding (and perhaps an errant throw or bad hop - but I wouldn't count on that). The cup pocket is deep enough and wide enough to slide his cup in easily, but without allowing room for the cup to constantly slip during use. I would buy them again, although I hope that I won't have to replace them for a while!

These sliding shorts are great! They offer good coverage and pretty much the only pair my boys will wear. They are 9 and 13 years old and ordered large and XL, seem to fit great. They have held up well throughout the baseball season. Will order again when they need a bigger pair.

My kid was complaining about sliding into home and it skinning up his side every time. I had totally forgotten about sliding shorts from when I played as a kid and quickly bought this to help him out. The sliding shorts are low profile and fit like underwear even though their padded so the baseball pants won't feel like they have to stretch over them. We liked these so much that we bought two pairs, especially playing a lot of weekend baseball tournaments where it's good to have a spare clean pair in the rotation.

For true to size. He does not seem to adjust these as much as other brands, so I would saw they are comfortable and don’t ride up.
