やはり、裏板の音響に影響が出ました。音の響きが悪くなり、大きなホールでの音の通りが悪くなりました。室内楽の演奏会でホールで行ったのですが、肩当てを通常のKunに戻すと、客席までの音の抜けが良くなりました。近くで引いた感じでは、あまり変わりませんが、大きな会場で弾く際には、あまりお勧めできません。

My son loves this shoulder rest. It is by far the most comfortable he has used, and the enhanced sound is brilliant. The volume is increased and the tonal quality improved as well. It's very easy to use and sticks well to the violin. Great product!

When I first learned to play violin as a child, my first shoulder pad was a bath sponge and an elastic band. This is just a slightly more technical modification for a lot more money.This pad will encourage bad posture and hold of the instrument, and in my opinion may well lead to nerve damage in the cervical (neck) vertebrae as a consequence of the poor posture. Additionally, on first use, the sticky surface did not adhere to the underside of the violin very well and kept falling off.I would recommend using a better, customisable shoulder rest that can be shaped to the player's profile.
